New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be unfurling the national flag in a short while from now and issues of corruption and black money are expected to dominate his Independence Day speech at Red Fort.

The Prime Minister is likely to throw light on the measures taken by his government to tackle both the issues but he may not directly refer to Anna Hazare and Ramdev.

The PM will also talk about the drought and rain situation across the nation and steps taken by the government to help the farmers.

The PM's speech will touch on key bills like food security, FDI, bills for women and youth and mention the Centre's aid to tackle the recent crisis in Assam.

He is also likely to speak about better pay and pension for army officers and veterans.

He may also speak about the Cabinet's clearance to ISRO's Mars Mission plan of sending an unmanned spaceship to Mars.
