Heavy rains, hailstorms bring relief to Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: The national capital that has been reeling under a severe heat wave saw relief on Thursday with heavy rainfall in many parts. Some areas of the National Capital region like Noida also saw hailstorms.

Many people were seen coming out of their offices and homes to enjoy what they were calling a major relief from the heat. The rains have brought temperatures down in the city.

This even as the Met department had earlier this week predicted that Delhi won't see rains before Friday.
