BANGALORE: The members of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Standing Committee on Health slapped notices on many hotels for not keeping their premises clean. “The Kamath Yatri Nivas Hotel in Gandhinagar was given notice for not keeping water covered. Kitchen area was untidy and they were not serving hot water too. We have given them list that they should follow. We will inspect the same place again after a few days to check if they have obliged,” Geetha Shashikumar, Chairperson of committee said.At Nandini hotel in Gandhinagar, the committee found stale chickens kept inside the freezer and served notice and warned the hotel management. During their visit at Sukh Sagar, Geetha said that though they maintained the good hygiene standards, the staff were deprived of ESI facilities.
