Sunday was also Delhi's coldest day of this season - the minimum temp was 7 degrees.
The Kashmir valley doing relatively doing a little better - it witnessed a slight rise in temperatures because of a dense cloud cover. Leh recorded 12.6 degrees while Srinagar 3.1.
Extreme weather also disrupted normal life in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
