HYDERABAD: Young Starz 2011, a talent festival for city-based colleges, recently kick-started with a bang at Bhavan’s Vivekananda College in the city.This talent festival will take place in 15 colleges across the city. Young Starz is going to be a month-long youth festival that will witness all the leading colleges participating in the event.The opening day at Bhavan’s college received a great response with more a large number of students participating in various perfoming arts like dance, singing, fashion and RJ hunt. The panel of judges included Anand Pillai, senior instructor at SDIPA, Hyderabad and DJ Kanna.The elite panel of judges for the entire fest include names like Asmita Marwa, Ganesh Nallari and Kalamandir Kalyan.Winners on the opening day were Pooja, Rajesh Sharma, Swetha and Pavan. The second college to experience this non-stop excitement and fun will be IIT Hyderabad, where the event will take place on September 10.Winners of Young Starz will win exciting oppurtunities to take their talent to the next level.
