HYDERABAD: Telangana Freedom Fighters Association's Sadbhavana Sadassu, which was held here on Thursday, received a good response from participants who came from various parts of the state.The participated included leaders of political parties and intellectuals. The day-long programme was presided over by association president Konda Laxman Bapuji. Congress MPs K Keshva Rao and Lagadapati Rajagopal, Telugu Desam Telangana Forum president E Dayakar Rao, TDP rebel MLA K Hareeshwar Reddy, well-known intellectual Parakala Prabhakar, MLC K Dileep Kumar, Telangana People's Organisations Joint Action Committee chairman Gajjala Kantam and several others took part in the programme.Interestingly, they all partook of lunch. Bapuji told reporters later that the programme was held to restore the peaceful atmosphere in the state.Similar programmes will be held all over the state with the next one in Nellore on November 21. Bapuji said he would visit Delhi on Nov 22 to meet leaders and urge them to raise the Telangana demand in Parliament.
