BANGALORE: With reference to the photograph that appeared in the City Express under the caption ‘Big Pool’ on July 16, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has taken its course of action as the concerned area engineer inspected the spot.After the inspection, it was found that a water pipe with a diameter of 24 inches, supplying Cauvery water to the BTR reservoir had been damaged. The BWSSB will soon be replacing the damaged pipe with MS pipe line and the pit has been covered with extra soil and the road has been levelled as well.
