Noida: A guard and an auto driver were on Monday injured in a shootout during a robbery attempt outside the Great India Place mall in Noida.
The guard was injured when four robbers shot at him as he tried to prevent them from robbing a van that had come to collect money from one of the showrooms in the mall.
Two of the miscreants were immediately apprehended by autorickshaw drivers outside the mall.
The guard, who received bullet injuries to his hand, is said to be out of danger.
The incident happened at Gate no 4 of the mall.
