HYDERABAD: Vayalar Ravi’s visit has pepped up the spirits of the party workers to some extent. He addressed the complaints they have against the party leadership in the state that they are not being consulted while taking important decisions. He met party leaders of all levels and gave a patient hearing and sought suggestions from them as to what should be done to resuscitate the party.Before leaving for Delhi, Ravi told chief minister N Kiran Kuamr Reddy, PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana and AICC observer KB Krishna Murthy to continue the exercise of assessing party’s prospects constituency-wise o that it would help them in giving party tickets to the eligible candidates for the ensuing bypolls.Earlier in the day, several ministers, MLAs and MPs met Ravi and poured out their woes. Ravi did not encourage any one to speak against the chief minister and made it clear that discipline is of utmost importance and their suggestions should be in the direction of helping the party getting stronger. He reportedly flew into a rage when labour minister Danam Nagender tried to make some allegations against him. Ravi told him that it was not proper on his part to criticise the chief minister under whom he was working.Others who called on Ravi included ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Parthasarathi, P Balaraju, M Mukesh Goud, Danam Nagendar, Ahamadulla and Ananta Venkata Ram Reddy, GV Harsha Kumar, minority leaders Shabbir Ali and Mahila Congress state president Ganga Bhavani.
