The Delhi police on Friday made its first arrest in the Rajouri Garden Burger King shootout case. More details on the arrest are awaited.

One person died in an incident of alleged targeted firing that took place at a Burger King outlet situated in New Delhi’s Rajouri Garden on June 19.

Earlier this week, the investigation into the murder of a man at a Rajouri Garden food outlet was transferred to the Delhi Police’s counter-terrorism unit special cell, officials said on Monday.

Aman Joon, 26, was shot dead by two gangsters while he was sitting with a woman inside a Burger King outlet in the west Delhi locality.  Police said Joon suffered 38 gunshot wounds in the firing.
