Dasara for jail inmates

MYSORE: Around 70 lucky women prisoners will get the traditional ‘bagina’ on the occasion of Parivartana Dasara, organised as part of the Dasara festivities to reform inmates. The inmates may also be able to participate in the mass-meal programme along with dignitaries, VIPs and VVIPs on October 3.    Also, Mysore Central Prison will open a stall at the Dasara Exhibition Grounds to sell the handloom products manufactured by the jail inmates.
