How did gentle young Bruce Wayne become Batman? The back story of Batman and his chief villains came to life on Monday in 'Gotham', a new television drama series by Fox.
The show opened to positive responses from the audiences, according to several media reports. According to an online news website, the show, pending initial viewership figures, was trending on Twitter throughout its hour-long telecast.
'Gotham' stars actor Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, young David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin.
Based on characters published by DC Entertainment and produced by Warner Bros. Television, 'Gotham' is the story of the great DC Comics super-villains and vigilantes, which reveals an entirely new chapter that hasn't been shared before.

My favorite scene in #Gotham is when Peter Gallagher teaches Detective Gordon how to tie his tie.— Jessie Cantrell (@JessieCantrell) September 23, 2014
