Neekhra said that this gives rise to suspicion that some sort of organized racket was behind all this.
He said that complaints about malfunctioning EVMs had been received from many places, including Surkhi, Bhopal and Panna.
He said that the same EVMs would soon be used again in the Lok Sabha polls and added that some steps need to be taken to restore the credibility of EVMs.
