An unidentified object, which the security officials suspect could be a bomb, was found in the Income Tax building at ITO.
New Delhi: Security officials in the Capital were on their toes once again after a bomb threat was reported at the Income Tax Office building in New Delhi.
Officials, who suspected that the unidentified object found on the second floor of the building was a bomb, later confirmed that it was a transistor.
Soon after information about the bomb was recieved, the building was evacuated and bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs rushed to the spot.
The squad then placed the unidentified object outside the building. The cars parked outside the building were also moved to a safe distance.
The Income Tax building is located right next to the Police Headquarters.
