KOCHI: The two-day inter-collegiate B-Fest, ASTHRA’12, hosted by Amritha Business School, began here on Saturday.The festival will witness students from various B-schools from across the country participating in a bevy of events.According to Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, who inaugurated the event, ASTHRA’12 is a good platform for the students to showcase their talents in tackling challenges. M Beena, managing director of Supplyco and Vytilla Mobility Hub, was the Chief Guest. She spoke on the necessity for educational institutions to focus on human capital, which plays an important role in the development and economic prosperity of the country. K N Raghavan, Additional Commissioner of Central Excise and Customs, Prem Nair, Medical Director of AIMS, Sunanda Muralidharan, Chairperson of Amritha School of Business and Sandhya G, Faculty Coordinator of ASTHRA’12 were present at the inauguration. Games in different fields of management such as marketing, finance, HR, operations and systems are being conducted across various venues.
