Artist Hema Upadhyay and her lawyer found murdered; four persons detained

Mumbai: In a gruesome double murder, renowned artist Hema Upadhyay and her lawyer Harish Bhambani were found dead in Kandivali on Sunday. Bodies of the duo were discovered inside a drain in cardboard boxes.

Four persons have been detained for the murder and a murder angle is being probed in the case. In 2013, Hema had filed a complaint of harassment against her husband Chintan, also an artist, alleging that he was painting obscene sketches on the walls of her room. Bhambani had represented Hema in the case during that time.
