New Delhi: Intelligence Bureau (IB) on Sunday warned of possible terror attacks in Delhi and claimed that 10 Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists who entered Gujarat on Friday are believed to be hiding in the national capital.
Sources said Pakistan's National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua first shared the leads with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists have entered India. He (Janjua) also informed that these terrorists are from Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfits and their aim is to carry out terror strikes in Gujarat and other parts of India.
While working on the leads, the Indian security agencies got information that the terrorists managed to infiltrate into Delhi. "We have information that the terrorists might target market places and malls," Delhi Police sources said.
"Delhi is on high alert and we have started massive combing operations across various locations," he added.
