7-yr-old girl raped in Delhi, suspect held

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old girl was raped by a youth in Chawri Bazar area of old Delhi on Sunday evening.

The child was allegedly playing with her friends outside her house when the incident happened.

Locals apprehended the youth and handed him over to the police when they saw the child running out from his house in tears.

A case has been lodged at the Hauz Khas Police station.
