BANGALORE: The 9th edition of ‘Bangalore Book Festival 2011’ organised by The Bangalore Booksellers and Publishers Association” (BBPA), will kick start from November 18 at the city’s Palace Grounds.Over a million titles under different categories and languages related to Medicine, Engineering, Indology, Architecture, Ayurveda, Astrology, etc spread over more than 330 stalls of book sellers and publishers from across India and multinational publishing houses will be displayed during the book exhibition.Balram Sadhwani, president, BBPA, said, “We are expecting more than 2 lakh footfalls and business turnover to the tune of Rs 17 crore this year.The book festival will have seminars and cultural programmes.” The ten-day exhibition will be open to public between 11 am and 8 pm on all days with an entry fee of `20, though the students can seek exemption.
