Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut-starrer Chandramukhi 2 is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 28. Directed by P Vasu and produced by Lyca Productions, the film features music composed by MM Keeravani. A pre-release event for the film took place in Hyderabad recently. During the event, Raghava Lawrence got emotional while talking about his fans. He said: “Telugu audience loves without expecting anything. I have never seen God. I think the name of this love is God. Every hero for whom I have composed dance, their fans have become my fans. Thanks to all the heroes who gave me a chance.”
He expressed his deep appreciation for the Telugu superstars. “There are three individuals in my life whom I can never forget: Superstar Rajinikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi, and King Nagarjuna, who have provided me with tremendous support”, said Raghava Lawrence. He also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with MM Keeravani, considering himself fortunate to have worked with him.
“Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth have had a significant influence on me, which is why I strive not to mimic them in movies. Rajinikanth sir provided valuable suggestions for Chandramukhi 2 which were executed really well”, he added. Raghava Lawrence praised actress Mahima Nambiar. He called her a fantastic singer. Raghava also expressed his joy in collaborating with Kangana Ranaut. He concluded his speech by assuring the audience that the film would provide great entertainment.
Mahima Nambiar is the second lead actress in Chandramukhi 2. She expressed her admiration for Vadivelu, who played a crucial role in the film. She commented, “Chandramukhi wouldn’t be the same without Vadivelu sir. Watching his performance was a treat for the eyes. His talent knows no bounds, and he is an exceptional actor. From his spontaneous improvisation to his dialogue delivery, every aspect of his craft is truly outstanding.”
Chandramukhi 2’s trailer starts by recounting the story of the prequel and then proceeds to unfold the continuing saga of Chandramukhi and her haunting presence in the village. It seamlessly links the past to the present and introduces Raghava Lawrence with great style. Packed with humour, action-packed sequences and intriguing plot developments, the trailer establishes the overall mood and essence of the movie.
Kangana Ranaut is effectively introduced as the enchanting court dancer Chandramukhi, who was once the king’s beloved, in the film. Raghava, portraying King Vettiyan, also appears in the trailer. The narrative unfolds when the family returns to the palace where Chandramukhi, now infamous as a vengeful spirit, resides.
