New Delhi: The Juventus coach, for perhaps the one and only time, has agreed with the 'Special One'.
Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri agrees with Inter tactician Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese claimed the Coppa Italia is not seen like the FA Cup is in England.
Ranieri reached the FA Cup final with Chelsea in 2002, but lost to Arsenal; Mourinho, on the other hand, won it with the Blues in 2007.
The Tinkerman is getting ready to guide his side into the semi-final of the Coppa Italia against Napoli on Wednesday night but he believes the Italian cup does not attract the same interest as its English counterpart.
"Mourinho is right when he said this," Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia.
"However, things are changing. The atmosphere is different in England when it comes to the cup, although we are improving, it will never be the same.
"Juventus will fight for the Coppa Italia, we have always said it is important for us and we want to do well in all three competitions (Serie A, Champions League, Coppa Italia) and then we will see what happens in the end.
"Napoli are an excellent side and they are right behind us. I think they will come here to play for the semi-final, and therefore it will be a difficult game. We want to win and we will do everything to do so."
Amauri's Brazilian call-up has been the big talking point this week. Ranieri insists the club never received any call from Brazil asking for the striker.
"Amauri is fine and he is in great shape both physically and psychologically," added the coach.
"We never had any formal request for Amauri from Brazil. We didn't receive anything for him."
