The Luis Suarez saga just doesn't seem to end. According to latest developments, Liverpool's prime objective is to make Suarez stay at Anfield. However, the Uruguayan's constant request for a transfer might prompt the Reds to eventually let him go, provided their financial demands are met.
According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are keen on setting £40million as a price for the striker and such a high price has been kept keeping in mind the caliber of Suarez.
There are also reports that Arsenal - after their £30million bid for the Liverpool striker was straightaway rejected, are prepared to come up with a new bid. However, in order to avail the services of the 26-year-old, manager Arsene Wenger needs to come up with a price of round £35million to stay in the run.
Since Real Madrid too are in chase, it should be presumed that the Frenchman would likely agree to pay the required amount if they have any chance of bringing Suarez to the Emirates.
