The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has rolled out the admit cards for the constable recruitment examination. Candidates who are willing to appear in the recruitment exam, scheduled for August 30, can download their hall tickets through the official website of UPPRPB, which is uppbpb.gov.in. It is to be noted that the candidates need to enter their registration numbers and date of birth in the portal to access the admit card.
Admit cards for the August 31 examination are likely to be released today, August 27 at midnight. The UP Police Constable recruitment examination commenced on August 23 and will continue until August 31 by UPPRPB. The exam is being held in two shifts across 1,174 centres in 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Under this recruitment drive, the UP Police is aiming to fill a total of 60,244 vacancies in the department.

Step 1: Login to the official website of the board at uppbpb.gov.in.
Step 2: Search for and open the link available to download the Constable admit card for the August 30 examination on the homepage.
Step 3: Next, open the candidate login tab.
Step 4: Key in your login details, such as your registration number and date of birth.
Step 5: Hit submit it, and the UP Police Constable admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Check all the information carefully and download the same for examination day.
This year, 48,17,441 candidates have applied for the constable posts. Out of which, 79.11 per cent of candidates who downloaded the admit cards appeared for the test in two shifts on the first day of the exam. As many as 4,09,720 candidates downloaded the hall tickets for the first shift, with 3,21,265 attending, while 4,09,880 admit cards were downloaded for the second shift, and 3,27,167 aspirants appeared.
Talking about day 2 (April 24), as many as 6,57,443 of the 8,24,573 candidates (both shifts) who downloaded their admit cards appeared for the test.
On day 3 (August 25), a total of 6,78,767 candidates appeared for the test. The board recorded that 8,20,150 candidates downloaded their admit cards for the two shifts on that day.
