IT major HCL Technologies (HCLTech) on Friday posted a 6.2 per cent year-on-year jump in its net profit to Rs 4,350 crore for the December 2023 quarter (Q3 FY24). Its revenue during October-December 2023 increased 6.5 per cent to Rs 28,446 crore.
HCLTech’s board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share and fixed January 20 as the record date for the same. The payment date of the said interim dividend will be January 31.
According to a regulatory filing, HCL’s total contract value (new deal wins) stood at $1,927 million during the December 2023 quarter.
The company added a net of 3,617 employees. Following this, HCL’s total employee count stood at 2,24,756 as of December 31, 2023. HCL added 3,818 freshers.
The company’s attrition rate on the last twelve-month basis stood at 12.8 per cent, which is lower than the 21.7 recorded a year ago.
On the outlook, HCLTech expects revenue growth, including ASAP acquisition, on constant currency terms between 5 per cent and 5.5 per cent year-on-year.
