In a move to provide a better travel experience with trains, and improve the overall connectivity in the country, the Indian railway is all set to kickstart the new train journeys, connecting new routes via two newly launched Amrit Bharat Express.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off these trains today, and will leave from the constructed Ayodhya Dham railway station in Uttar Pradesh.

Amrit Bharat Express Routes
After getting the green signal by the PM, both the Amrit Bharat Express will start providing the service on the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar. The usual journey will kickstart from Darbhanga on January 1, 2024.
It will directly from from Darbhanga to Anand Vihar via Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairagnia, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Kanpur, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh. This train will consist of 16 sleepers, 4 unreserved and 2 disabled coaches, providing a seamless travel experience to all the passengers.
It will run only two days a week, providing a premium class travel expirence to over 1834 passengers on board at a time.
Departure Time
The newly launched Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Darbhanga at 01.55 and reach Anand Vihar at 09.15 the next day. While on return, the train will leave from Anand Vihar at 04.10 and will reach Darbhanga at 12.35 the next day.
Once the operations start, it will benefit the people from Mithila, allowing them to visit Ayodhya directly without putting much effort.
Features and Technology
These trains will be equipped with tons of cutting-edge technology, allowing every single person to enjoy every mile without any much noise and jerk. On the safety front, the train will also have CCTV cameras, a monitor room and security personnel onboard.
Talking about the other notable features, it will have a ramp for disabled persons, better aesthetic lighting, a charging port with a foldable table slab, luggage racks, and the list goes on.
