Renault will open its first electric-car-only concept store in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday, February 16, the carmaker has announced.
The "Renault Electric Vehicle Experience Center" is billed as an urban concept store in the heart of one of Sweden's largest shopping malls. As well as offering consumers a chance to learn more about the concept of electric motoring it is also -- and above all -- a showcase for the carmaker to present its fully electric models.
The store will feature several "zones," with areas for displaying cars, for information on charging methods and infrastructure, or for the lowdown on local regulations and government subsidies, etc. Like any dealership or showroom, customers will also be able to test-drive models and place orders.
Other European concept stores are expected to follow.
