Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s passion for cars and bikes is well known.
What began with a second-hand Yamaha RX100 bike that Dhoni purchased after earning money from a cricket match has now grown into a full-fledged legendary collection featuring some of the biggest brands in the automobile industry, including Ducati, Audi, Hummer, and many more. He is frequently seen driving his expensive cars in his hometown Ranchi.
With a separate garage for his enormous collection of automobiles and motorcycles, the India great has now added the Jawa 42 Bobber to his collection with a bespoke colour scheme. The Jawa 42 Bobber is sold for Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The Jawa 42 Bobber is one of the most affordable bobber-styled bikes in the market.

Jawa 42 Bobber: Details
MS Dhoni’s Jawa 42 Bobber has a unique paint job in jade and bottle green, with golden pinstripes adorning the side panel, front and rear mudguards, and fuel tank. Additionally, the motorcycle’s seat is modified. Since it’s the sole vehicle in its class and has only one seat, the 42 Bobber has a unique look.
Skipper Pipes, a company that specialises in polymer pipes and fittings, gifted the customised Jawa to Dhoni, according to carandbike. MS Dhoni, along with West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle, was named Skipper Pipes’ brand ambassador in March 2023. Dhoni is also a TVS Motor Company brand ambassador.
The 42 Bobber is powered by a 334 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine rated at 29.5 bhp and 32.74 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The front forks are 35 mm telescopic, while the rear shock is a gas-filled monoshock with a 7-step adjustable preload. The braking system consists of a 280 mm front single disc and a 240 mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is standard on the motorcycle. The 42 Bobber has 100/90 18-inch front tyres and 140/70 17-inch rear tyres.
Dhoni’s enormous car and bike collection stunned legendary cricketers Venkatesh Prasad and Sunil Joshi in July 2023. The video was shared on X (formally Twitter), and it collected more than 2.7 million views.

Despite his retirement from international cricket, Dhoni has continued to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team won the 2023 Indian Premier League; however, Dhoni has not yet confirmed if he will play again in 2024.
