In a groundbreaking move to kill the range anxiety in the EV segment, the top electric two-wheeler manufacturer Lectrix EV has launched the Lectrix Battery Swap Network in India.
As per the details shared by the brand, the setup has been installed in Delhi, where customers can enjoy the unlimited charging facility. The model works quite similarly to Gogoro’s battery-swapping plant, which already getting good responses from the users.
Available at Monthly Subscription
To enjoy the unlimited service, customers have to pay a monthly subscription of Rs 2,299 only. Under this price range, they will get access to the stations, allowing them to swap drain batteries with charged ones. The whole process will take hardy few seconds.
It was also informed by the company that these stations can accommodate both smart and non-smart EVs without batteries, offering them low-cost charging solutions on a daily basis.
SAR Electric Mobility CEO’s Comment
Speaking about the model, the MD & CEO of SAR Electric Mobility, K Vijaya Kumar said, “We understand the challenges faced by EV users, and the Lectrix Battery Swap Network is our answer to the range anxiety and charging woes.”
In addition, he said, “We aim to establish a dense swapping network across 500 locations in 4 Cities. We are already live at 20 locations in Delhi.”

Meanwhile, to boost and contribute to the EV segment, Lectrix also has launched an e-scooter in India. It comes with a decent range of capabilities, offering a comfortable riding experience to the customers.
