Jaguar to Discontinue Entire Product line-up by 2024, Here’s Why
Jaguar's fleet that consists with premium models such as XE, XF sedan, XF Wagon, F-Type, E-Pace and I-Pace, all will be discontinued before the end of 2024.

The luxury car manufacturer JLR is all set to shift its brand Jaguar on a completely EV route. The deadline has been set for 2025. To achieve the set target, the company will kill its entire product range, and will keep only one model in the ICE category.

It has been reported by the Team Bhp that the Jaguar, which has premium models such as XE, XF sedan, XF Wagon, F-Type, E-Pace and I-Pace, all will be discontinued before the end of 2024.

Model to Remain in Sale

The company will continue to sell the tech-loaded F-Pace model, which comes at the starting price of Rs 72.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV might not shine for a longer time as it will be phased out soon before the arrival of the first EV badge from the brand.

Statement by Jaguar CEO

Commenting on the models, which are on the verge of discontinuation, the CEO of Jaguar, Adrian Mardell said that the comany hardly made any profit out of the above-mentioned models. He said that it has witnessed close to zero profitability.

Upcoming EV lineup

Coming back to Jaguar’s upcoming EV lineup, it is expected to dominate the EV segment with an annual sales target of at least 50,000 units. The report says the future EVs will be developed using the long-wheelbase Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA) platform.

The upcoming EVs will be treated with robust technology and will be equipped with top capabilities including fast charging, rear-wheel steering, all-wheel-drive, and impressive range among others. When it comes to the pricing, the first model is likely to be sold at 130,000 dollars (Roughly Rs 1 crore). The big SUVs are also a part of the plan, which will push the entire range further.

Concept Car Unveiling

Meanwhile, Jaguar is likely to break the cover from its concept car later this year. However, the brand has not revealed or hinted anything officially as yet.
