In less than 15hours of her first tweet ‘Hi, Twitter’, Malala has gathered record breaking 392K followers with just 7 tweets so far.

Nobel Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai is a force unstoppable when it comes to her mission of female education. Yousafzai graduated from Edgbaston High School, UK on Friday and joined twitter late evening. In her first tweet on the microblogging site, she posted ‘Hi, Twitter’ followed by a series of tweets talking about her last day at school and girl education. "Today is my last day of school and my first day on @Twitter," wrote Malala Yousafzai.

In less than 15hours of her first tweet ‘Hi, Twitter’, Malala has gathered record breaking 392K followers with just 7 tweets so far. The popularity and fan following Malala Yousafzai has garnered is credited to her courage and grit despite roadblocks and terror that she has lived under in her formative years in Pakistan. The girl was who shot by Taliban for going to a school has defeated terror on its face as she completed her high school yesterday with flying colors.

Yousafzai called it a bittersweet experience to graduate from High School as there are thousands of girls globally who would not even see a school in their lifetime. ‘Graduating from secondary school (high school) is bittersweet for me. I'm excited about my future, but... .I know that millions of girls around the world are out of school and may never get the opportunity to complete their education’ she tweeted.

And keeping up her fire to fight for the cause, she announced ‘Next week, I will be back on my #GirlPowerTrip to meet girls in Middle East, Africa & Latin America.’ US Senator Kamala Harris was quick to reply that Malala, with her fight on behalf of young girls worldwide, is the change they want to see in the world.

World leaders like Microsoft Founder Bill Gates, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, US Senator Kamala Harris amongst many congratulated the Youngest Nobel Prize Laureate while she set her pace to gear up her mission of girl education with the twitter revolution. ‘Each girl’s story is unique —  and girls' voices are our most powerful weapons in the fight for education and equality’ ‘On and off Twitter, I'm fighting for girls —  will you join me?’ wrote Malala Yousafzai!
