New Delhi: As India prepares to host the eighth edition of Global Entrepreneurship Summit later this year, Ivanka Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump, has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to lead the US delegation.
“To further our economic partnership, I am excited to report that the Prime Minister has invited my daughter, Ivanka, to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India this fall. And I believe she has accepted,” President Trump told reporters after meeting Modi.
Inviting Ivanka to India, PM Modi said, “I would like to tell you that I am eager to welcome your daughter to India for the Entrepreneurship Summit.”

Soon after this, Ivanka posted on her official twitter handle @IvankaTrump: “Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for inviting me to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India this fall.”
This year’s GES will be the eighth instalment in a series previously hosted by the United States and the governments of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Morocco, and Kenya. India is getting to host the Summit for the first time.
GES aims to showcase inspiring entrepreneurs and investors from around the world, creating new opportunities for investment, partnership, and collaboration.
The summit will include a wide range of workshops, panels, ignite talks, pitch competitions, mentoring, and networking sessions aimed to give participants tailored opportunities to gain skill and relationships that will help their ventures grow. Within the Summit, there will also be demonstration areas, experiential learning exhibitions, and opportunities to connect with industry experts.
