While most people have a fear of snakes, some keep them as pets and even carry the reptile while travelling. A video of a man carrying snakes inside a means of public transport has gone viral. The clip has led to a debate online, with many considering it extremely unsafe to carry snakes in public spaces.
In a clip shared on Instagram, the man is seen seated with a python kept on his lap, and another wrapped around his neck. The pythons can be seen making subtle movements and gradually rising to the owner.
Even though most of the people around the man seem unbothered, there is this one woman who looks worried. However, she doesn’t react and tries to maintain her cool. The video was shared by an account named @factsclip. The clip was captioned, “This should be illegal.”
As soon as the clip was uploaded on Instagram, it received varying responses from users. Many called carrying reptiles on public transport illegal and dangerous. One of the users wrote, “Why does the snake on his lap look like he’s asking for a damn explanation?” Another user commented, “She is the only one with the right reaction. I don’t understand how everyone else seems to be unbothered.”
So far, the viral video has gotten 23.4 million views on Instagram. This is not the only case where people have showcased their love for snakes in public.
