This Video Of Little Girls Enjoying First Snowfall In Kashmir Will Make Your Day

Experiencing snowfall is truly a delightful experience for many. Imagine being surrounded by snow-capped peaks while you see the soft snow falling from the sky. It is a blissful sight enjoyed both by adults and children. India is home to many mountain destinations where snowfall is a common occurrence. One among them is Kashmir, also known as the Heaven on Earth which turns into a snow-sheathed wonderland during the freezing winter season. Recently, a video of two local little girls sharing their excitement and joy upon witnessing the first snowfall in Kashmir this cold month has spread smiles across the internet.

The viral video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by industrialist Anand Mahindra. The Mahindra Group CEO never ceases to entertain us with his versatile posts. The recent visual clip bears testimony to this fact. “Sleds on Snow. Or Shayari on Snow. My vote goes to the second,” read his witty note. The video captures two young Kashmiri sisters greeting viewers and explaining how they finally got to experience snowfall in Kashmir this year. The girls narrate how they prayed for the snow, calling the present scenario to be “jannat” or heaven for them. “I feel that I’m sitting somewhere in heaven,” says one of the young kids.

Quite adorably, the little girls call the freshly-fallen snow, “doodh ki leherein” or a milky stream. They make balls of snow, playing with them and declaring that they are enjoying themselves to the fullest. One of the girls jokingly claims that the snow has deposited so deep in the ground that she could possibly get submerged in it. While showing the pristine ambiance around her, when the girls’ mother says that they can catch a cold in the chilly temperature, one of them defends herself by saying that enjoying is her priority.

Reacting to the video, a user commented, “Cuteness overloaded.” “Really Beautiful. we have to learn from these lovely kids,” quipped another. “The other’s facial expressions are also very cute, beautiful sisters,” noted an individual. “If I have 2 hearts, They will steal the Both,” read another lovely remark.
