This Louis Vuitton Luxurious Sandwich Bag Costs More Than A Sports Bike

French luxury brand Louis Vuitton is placed high in the ranks of fashion. Specialised in making handbags, luggage, clothes, and more, the brand is widely recognised for its iconic monogram pattern. Although the label houses an array of items boasting excellent craftsmanship and made with the finest materials, a Louis Vuitton product costs a fortune. Mostly celebrities are the ones who own these expensive accessories or garments. Known for their remarkable creativity, Louis Vuitton never fails to amaze us with their innovative and unique product launches, but at an exorbitant rate. Recently, the brand has once again grabbed the eyeballs of the masses for introducing a Sandwich Bag during the Spring-Summer 2024 fashion show at a whopping price.

Created by Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, the Sandwich Bag went on sale on January 4. The leather bag bears a striking resemblance to an ordinary paper bag used to pack snack items like burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and similar food items. But what makes this particular Louis Vuitton bag stand out from the crowd is its sky-high cost. The Sandwich Bag is priced at Rs 2,80,000. Yellow-ocher in colour, the bag comes with a pretty big blue strap-on feature.

As per the product description on the official Louis Vuitton website, the Sandwich Bag is crafted from “supple cowhide leather in exactly the same colour as the House’s famed shopping bags.” What’s more, the paper bag has the name of the brand and Maison Fondée En 1854 engraved on it in a stunning display of calligraphic beauty. To organise the things inside, the bag also comes with a “zipped pocket and a double flat pocket”. Coming to the measurements, the extravagant bag is 30 centimetres long, 27 centimetres high, and has a width of 17 centimetres.

Soon after the launch of the Louis Vuitton Sandwich bag, social media users reacted to the new product on X (formerly Twitter). The bag’s steep price was the main highlight. “I’d be worried that someone would not only steal my Play-Lunch but also my Sandwich Bag,” read a sarcastic remark. “So now you can even flex with a lunch box ?? No this is hard,” pointed out another. “The Louis Vuitton Sandwich Bag. Because people who buy it will be so broke they will need to make their own sandwiches for life,” joked a third critical user.
