Pakistan captain Babar Azam is one of the most popular cricketers in the sport. He is adored by many who aspire to meet him or at least obtain his autograph. The disappointment turned into a heartwarming moment when pacer Naseem Shah stepped in to save the day.

In the video, Babar Azam is seen chatting with a few young supporters before entering a lift, disappointing the kids who were waiting for his autograph. When Naseem Shah arrived, he noticed one of the boys sobbing because he was unable to get the Pakistani captain’s autograph. Naseem Shah not only offered him his autograph but also made a nice gesture by signing on Babar Azam’s behalf.

Still struggling to process everything, the child asked Naseem, “Yeh Babar Azam ka hai? (Is this Babar Azam’s?).

“Haan, yeh Babar Azam ka hi hai (Yes, this is Babar Azam’s)” was Naseem’s comforting reply.

Following his comforting words to the child, Naseem was seen taking photos and signing autographs for other kids. Naseem’s efforts to comfort the child were appreciated by his admirers on social media.

Pakistan have just wrapped up a four-match T20I series against England. The Asian giants failed miserably in the four-match campaign. After the first T20I was washed out due to incessant rain in Leeds, England beat Pakistan by 23 runs in the second match. The third match was also called off owing to weather issues. In the fourth T20I, the hosts notched a 27-run victory to fold the home series on a triumphant note. Babar Azam-led Pakistan will play their opening match in the T20 World Cup on June 6.
