Dharmendra Singh, residing in the Ramgarh block of Kaimur district in Bihar, serves as a sub-inspector in Tripura. His remarkable achievements are beyond our imagination, demonstrating capabilities that would astonish you. At present, Dharmendra Singh, widely known as Hammer Head Man, has gained global recognition for his extraordinary accomplishments. His remarkable feats have left people in awe, earning him a place in both the Guinness Book of World Records and India World Records. During a visit to Maa Mundeshwari Dham, an ancient temple in Kaimur district, Singh observed the tradition of breaking coconuts on the ground after offering them as prasad. Inspired, he decided to break the coconut with his head as a unique and memorable offering. Initially, attempting to break the coconut with a headbutt resulted in the coconut remaining intact, but Dharmendra Singh persevered. Despite his head getting injured twice, first at Maa Mundeshwari Dham and then at Sankatmochan Temple in Banaras, he persisted in his practice. Over time, his head strengthened to the point of being harder than iron, marking the beginning of his journey to set multiple world records.
In 2017, Dharmendra Singh set a record against China by breaking 51 unripe vines with his head in 2 minutes and 50 seconds. During the same year, he achieved another record by breaking 57 coconuts with his head in just 1 minute. In 2021, he accomplished the remarkable feat of bending 15 12mm bars with his teeth within a minute, surpassing his initial record of bending 10 bars with teeth in 2014.
Dharmendra Singh’s astonishing records include bending 24 12mm rods with his head in 1 minute and setting another record by bending 18 bars within the same timeframe. In 2020, he achieved the feat of bending 17 12mm rods from the back part of his body in one minute. He made a world record in 2020 by skipping 30 times in 30 seconds with a 10-metre rope.
Dharmendra’s journey began at the age of 12 with the idea of breaking a coconut with his head. Born to a simple farming family, his father Apleshwar Singh and former Sarpanch mother Kunti Devi, Dharmendra has proudly represented India globally, showcasing his extraordinary abilities through numerous world records.
