In a recent incident in Kota, Rajasthan, a 55-year-old man, named Mangilal, gifted his 21-year-old son, Rakesh, a new mobile phone, which tragically led to fatal consequences. Mangilal had purchased the phone for his son just a few days prior. However, when Mangilal used the phone to listen to songs, Rakesh became enraged. In a fit of anger, he picked up an axe and struck his father’s head, sending him to the hospital. After committing the crime, Rakesh fled the scene and the police are now searching for him.
According to reports, Mangilal had taken the phone with him to the field to listen to music while working, and forgot it there. When Rakesh asked about the phone, Mangilal explained that he had left it in the field. This infuriated Rakesh, who assumed his father had sold the phone and attacked his father with an axe.
Following the attack, Rakesh fled the scene. Mangilal’s son-in-law rushed him to the hospital. The police have registered a case and are actively searching for Rakesh.
This incident follows a similar case in Kota, where a son attacked his mother with an axe. After 41 days of treatment, she succumbed to her injuries.
