The company has partnered with San Francisco designer, Bradly G.Munkowitz, to create new default desktop backgrounds for Windows 10.

New Delhi: When you power on your computer systems with the new Windows 10 operating system, a lot is going to set your pulse racing. Microsoft is all geared up to unveil the next version of its ubiquitous computer operating system on July 29. While a lot has been tweaked in the OS, the software giant doesn't seem to have enough of adding little surprises for us.

The company has partnered with San Francisco designer, Bradly G.Munkowitz, to create new default desktop backgrounds for Windows 10. Munkowitz has worked on films like Tron, so you can easily imagine the kind of creativity that must have gone behind creating the iconic images.From camera mapping technology to even using a fog machine for a 3D-looking Windows 10 logo, watch this video to get a sneak peek into what all went behind the new backgrounds. However, it is not the first time Microsoft has worked with a forward-thinking artist for its products; its iconic startup chime for Windows 95 was composed by ambient-music legend Brian Eno.
