Vijay's Selfie With Fans From GOAT Shoot Reminds The Internet Of His Film Master
Thalapathy Vijay is playing a double role in GOAT, with one character playing a middle-aged man while another shows him young.

The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay’s 68th film, GOAT, is progressing at a rapid pace. The title of the film cleverly alludes to the star of the film, as GOAT, an acronym for Greatest Of All Time, aptly describes Vijay. With a fan following in the millions, Vijay is highly revered not only in Tamil Nadu but also beyond. The recently released film, Leo, was a massive success, solidifying the actor’s position as one of the top stars in Tamil cinema. Now, another incident on the sets of GOAT showcases the kind of mass hysteria that Vijay commands.

In GOAT, Vijay is playing a double role, with one character portraying a middle-aged man while the other depicts him as young. It is still unknown whether he is playing the roles of father and son. Hundreds of fans gathered at the shooting site of GOAT to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor. Vijay, in the appearance of his younger character, with a clean-shaven face and black-dyed hair, decided to take a selfie with the crowd of fans.

Vijay’s selfie with fans was officially posted by the actor’s manager, Jagadish Palanisamy, and it instantly became a sensation on the internet.

While Vijay was capturing the moment with the swarm of fans, people from the crowd also took photos and videos of the actor. One behind-the-scenes video of the viral selfie shows how the actor is standing atop a van, adjusting and positioning himself for the perfect selfie.

Vijay took a selfie with his fans in Tamil Nadu’s Neyveli during the shooting of Master in 2020. The photo became the most retweeted tweet in 2020. GOAT is directed by Venkat Prabhu, and the film’s release date has not been divulged yet.
