In an interview to ANI news agency, he said, “I am very hurt with Akhilesh Yadav calling me a dalal. I do not want to remain in politics, this is not politics.”
“If he ever goes through any crisis, I will stand by him. I will never reply to any abuse hurled by him. Let them remove me from the party or from the Rajya Sabha, I am ready for that. Akhilesh Yadav is a good face, he needs the experience of Mulayam Singh.”
Expressing sadness over not being invited to Samajwadi Party’s election yatra, Singh said, “I have not been invited for the election yatra on November 3. I will also not attend the party's silver jubilee celebrations on November 5 as Akhilesh Yadav supporters might hurt me.”
