Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi, launch several schemes

New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will be on a day-long visit to his constituency Amethi on Wednesday. Rahul Gandhi will inaugurate a Rail Neer plant at Tikaria in Gauriganj and also inaugurate an FM radio station in Sarai Hriday Shah village.

He will also address a rally before returning to Delhi. He will also review the implementation of various schemes of the UPA government.

After arriving, he will inaugurate nine branches of State Bank of India in Mohanganj (Tiloi) and would also address the gathering, his local representative Chandrakant Dubey said.

Earlier, Rahul were visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh on February 11 but due to bad weather that programme was postponed.
