Open to suggestions on Lokpal Bill: Singhvi
Singhvi said that the committee was open to suggestions on the Lokpal Bill.

New Delhi: Parliamentary Standing Committee Chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Monday said that the committee has the power to make as many changes as possible in the Lokpal Bill tabled in Parliament by the Government.

Singhvi said that the committee was open to suggestions and a reasonable solution to the Lokpal issue can be reached.

"There's is an attempt to reach a solution, there should be no room for skepticism. We are open to suggestions from everyone," he said.

Singhvi added that the next standing committee meeting is schedule in the near future and a solutions will be found.

He also on went on to slam BJP leader LK Advani saying that Advani was only interested in power and nothing else.

"I will not comment on Advani. He is least interested in corruption or Lokpal issue. It's his greed for power which is coming out," said Singhvi.

Advani had demanded Prime Minister Manmohan Singh resignation on Sunday evening saying that he had lost the power to lead the Government. He said that under the UPA government there have been a lot of scams and Singh should step down.
