Live: Lok Sabha takes up Land Acquisition Amendment Bill for discussion and passing

The Narendra Modi government is expected to table the controversial Land Acquisition Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The opposition parties are expected to corner the government on the issue of release of Hurriyat hardliner Masarat Alam from Baramulla Jail in Jammu and Kashmir. Eight hours have been allotted for the discussion on the controversial Land Amendment Bill.
