Woman Shares Stranger's Note on Her Library Desk And Internet Cannot Decide If It is 'Cute or Cringe'

Girls often encounter situations where random people just slide into their DMs with a pickup line or an icebreaker. Then, there are times when people try such lines face to face. Back in the day, when there was no social media, people used to write such things on a piece of paper and then pass it further. Even though we have social media at our disposal every time now, there are still some old school lovers who only prefer this old method.

‘X’ user ‘Sakshi’ took to the micro blogging platform and shared how someone left a note for her at the library. “Someone left this note on my library desk. Cute or cringe, can’t decide,” she wrote as she shared the image of the note. The note contains a hindi shayari and it has people in splits. The shayari goes like, “Tumhari muskurahat ne humare hosh uda diye. Hum fir se hosh mein aaye hee the ki tum fir muskura diye.”

Since being uploaded, the image has gathered over 560K views. “Romance is dead nowadays, we live in a world where this could be seen as cringe. Chessy, yes, but cringe? Hello? But I understand some people have bad experiences in their lives to appreciate the gesture,” commented an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “I did this. I mean, not this below, 18 years ago, I left a note on a library desk like this. It gave me peace not to contain my thoughts.”

“Imagine mustering up all your courage to try and rizz up a girl you thought looked cute only to end up on social media as a meme that more than a lakh of people have viewed. Scary times yo,” commented another person.
