WhatsApp Rolling Out Feature To Create New Groups While Forwarding Messages: Know More
Even though it’s not mentioned in the official changelog on the App Store, the feature to quickly create new group chats is available after installing this update.

To make its application more user-friendly, the popular Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a feature to create a new group chat while forwarding messages. This new shortcut will save users time by letting them create groups when they come across a message that motivates them to connect with specific contacts all in one place.

“While the official changelog doesn’t include information regarding which features this version offers, as WhatsApp didn’t update the changelog from the previous build, we discovered that WhatsApp is widely rolling out a shortcut to quickly create a new group chat while forwarding messages,” WABetaInfo reported.

Even though it’s not mentioned in the official changelog on the App Store, the feature to quickly create new group chats is available after installing this update.

If you want to find out if this feature is enabled for your account, you just need to forward a message to see if the new shortcut to create a new group chat is visible within the forwarding screen. Please note that this feature is also available in the beta version of the app.

If you don’t have this feature, note that some accounts may receive it over the coming weeks, although it has not been indicated in the official changelog. To ensure you get this feature in the future, please stay ahead by regularly updating WhatsApp from the App Store or the TestFlight app.

The feature to create a new group chat while forwarding messages is available for iOS users that install the latest update of WhatsApp from the App Store. Make sure to install this update to enjoy a better user experience.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also working on bringing the ability to receive texts from third-party applications in a bid to comply with new EU guidelines.

WhatsApp for Android version 2.23.19.8 was found to contain a new blank screen labeled “third-party chats”—which could be an indication that Meta is working on bringing cross-platform support for WhatsApp to comply with EU norms, said WABetaInfo.
