Tata Punch EV To Borrow Features From Nexon EV Facelift, India Launch Soon
It has been reported that the upcoming Tata Punch EV will feature the company's advanced Ziptron technology, allowing the customers to experience decent power.

After dropping the feature-loaded Nexon EV facelift, the homegrown car maker is gearing up to introduce another power pack electric in Punch in the Indian market. Ahead of the official launch, the e-micro SUV has been spied several times during the testing, revealing a lot of details and important key features.

It has been reported the upcoming four-wheeler will not come as a surprise in terms of design. Apart from being fully electric, and few upgrades in terms of feature upgrades, many inspired by the newly launched Nexon EV, the vehicle is expected to hit the market as charming as its ongoing fuel-powered engine.

Tata Punch EV Spied

Recently, a test mule of the upcoming Tata Punch EV was spied on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, where the vehicle was caught running around between 90 kmph to 100 kmph, leaving all the observers in shock with its power and speed. The report says, the test mule looked close to the production model, which looked similar compared to the fuel-powered model.

Tata Punch EV Design and Styling

Talking about the exterior, the fully electrified avatar of Punch will come with the LED headlight setup, and paired LED DRLs, the same as the ongoing ICE models. It is expected that the company might introduce a bit similar interior as the newly launched Nexon EV, featuring the same multi-functional wheel with an illuminated logo on the top. Apart from this, customers also can expect minor cosmetic changes from outside such as EV badging on pillar B and rear.

It has been reported that the upcoming Tata Punch EV will feature the company’s advanced  Ziptron technology, allowing the customers to experience good power and decent range.

The report also revealed that the EV will be based on the company’s ALFA platform with Tata’s Gen-2 EV architecture and will be equipped with a liquid-cooled battery pack, under which the main power will be supplied by permanent magnet synchronous motor will circulate in the front wheels.
