AP 10th Result 2022 at bseap.gov.in. Nearly 6 lakh students to get their results today. No merit list, marks memos to be issued online.

Nearly 6 lakh students are awaiting the AP SSC result 2022. The Andhra Pradesh Board or the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) was set to announce the AP SSC results at 11 am today. It has now been postponed to June 6, Monday due to unavoidable circumstances. The results will be out via a press conference. Soon after the ceremonial announcement, a link will be activated at the official website to check the score.

AP SSC 10th Result 2022 LIVE Updates

A total of 6,21,799 students took the AP SSC exams out of which 3,02,474 are girls and 3,63,000 are boys. BSEAP will not release the merit list or topper list to ensure that students do not value marks over education. Further, the results are being announced in a record time of 25 days after the exams were over. The pass marks in 33 per cent.

Since a large number of students will be checking their scores, the BSE AP has decided to release the result at more than one websites. The result will be available at News18.com as well. To check the result with News18.com directly, students need to fill the form given below using the roll number, date of birth etc as mentioned on their hall ticket

Students can also get their results at other official websites. Since the result will be announced in online mode and a print out of the online result will act as a provisional marksheet, it is critical for students to go to only trustworthy resources. In case of any error, students will have to get in touch with the authorities at the earliest. Apart from school authorities, students can check with their respective school principals.

AP 10th result 2022: Passing Marks

To pass the AP 10th exams, students need to score at least 33 per cent marks. For the past two years, all students who are registering for AP SSC are being promoted to the next class with 100 per cent pass percentage. While in 2020, no exams were held in 2021 despite exams a grace marks policy was followed and all students were promoted. This year, the pass percentage is expected to go down.

AP 10th result 2022: Know your grades

Along with AP SSC marks, students will also get grades. Those who obtain 91 and above marks will get an A1 grade, those obtaining scores in the range of 81-90 marks will get an A2 grade, while 71-80 marks will get students a B1 grade, 61-70 marks will get a student B2 grade. To pass the exam, a student needs a minimum of 35 marks or a grade D.

AP 10th Result 2022: Previous year pass percentages

The board had cancelled the written examination in 2020 and in 2021, the students were promoted on the basis of internal assessment exam and final marks obtained in classes 7 to 9. Prior to that, BSEAP had maintained a result of over 90 per cent. In 2019, the AP SSC registered an overall pass percentage of 94.88 per cent. While 94.68 per cent boys cleared the examination, the girls showed a marginally better performance with a pass percentage of 95.09 per cent. In 2018, it was at 94.48 per cent, in 2017, it was at 91.92 per cent and in 2016, it was 93.26 per cent.
