BTS Member J Hope’s Lovely Runner Reference In Handwritten Letter Has Army’s Attention
On BTS’ 11th anniversary celebration, a grand event has been organised to honour the band's journey.

BTS is celebrating its 11th anniversary today, June 13. Since their debut in 2013, the all-boy band has reached incredible heights, by delighting audiences with their music and performances. Their agency Big Hit has organised a grand FESTA 2024 to honour the band’s journey and love of their fans over the years. Despite most of the members currently fulfilling their military duties, except Jin, who recently got discharged, the excitement among fans remains high. Although not all members will be present, a special meet and greet with Jin has been announced. Each BTS member has shared handwritten letters thanking fans, known as Army, for their support. Among these letters, J Hope’s message has particularly captured the attention of many fans.

In his letter, J Hope asked a few questions to Army, but the last one stood out as it contained k drama Lovely Runner’s reference.

As per KoreaBoo, the singer wrote, “How have you been? I hope you are in good health? What are you into these days? How are you doing without us? What would you like to say when we meet again? Now, be honest, were your hearts miles away like Lovely Runners? Did you carry Sunjae on your back and run or not?”

J Hope dropped another message for Army on BTS’ official X page.

Sharing the picture of the group, including V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, RM and Suga from their early days, the South Korean artist wrote, “It’s been 11 years since we’ve been together with our Army. The most fun part is that our brother was discharged as a man yesterday, right? Congratulations. I’m so jealous, the most jealous in the world. Half serious, half joking, I want to feel a little less jealous of this. I enlisted early. The public opinion was so loving. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 11 years since we’ve been with our Army. Thank you for loving. Right now, I just want to show you a good side as soon as possible. Especially today. I can picture myself standing proudly in front of you all. I’m sure you feel the same way, right? I miss you and I love you.”

J Hope enlisted in the military on April 18, 2023 and the rapper is expected to be discharged from his duty in October.
