The second round of choice-filling for the BTech and BArch programmes at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will commence tomorrow, September 21. Candidates who are taking part in the second round must be careful when choosing the course and college they would like to be assigned to. The official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in, will provide a link for the AKTU UPTAC Counselling round 2 choice filling and locking process.
Seat allocation results will be announced based on the order of preference of courses and institutions, seat availability, and other factors. Round 2 of UPTAC’s BTech seat allocation will take place on September 22. The AKTU UPTAC round 2 BTech counselling does not require applicants who enrolled for round 1 to reapply. Candidates are required to log in with their application ID and password in order to enter their choices for the second round of counselling with the AKTU.

In the meantime, on September 22, AKTU, the organising body, will begin conducting the round 2 option filling facility for UG and PG programmes utilising the CUET score. Candidates who are offered seats in this round must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 20,000 for general candidates and Rs. 12,000 for reserved candidates. The choice-locking provision will be discontinued as soon as the third round is completed. Candidates must therefore rank their choices in order of preference. There will be a total of six rounds of counselling offered by AKTU, and applicants who join the process in rounds 4 or 5 won’t have the chance to indicate their preferences.
