In a recent bout of honesty, Vivek opened up about Alia Bhatt’s acting prowess and said that he thinks of her as a part of his family.

Talking to Mid Day, Vivek said that he is a “fan of Alia Bhatt”. “I feel Alia is a part of my family and I always admire her work. I like the way she has matured as an actor in the last few years. She has creative intelligence and that’s why I really like her growth and the way she has conducted herself in public. Whenever there’s a discussion, I refuse to accept anything negative about her. Alia is a great example of how an actor should mature,” he added.

In the same interview, he also expressed his appreciation for Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon. While Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Pushpa, Alia and Kriti jointly won the National Award for Best Actress for Gangubai Kathaiwadi and Mimi respectively. Meanwhile, The Vaccine War features a stellar ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher and Raima Sen among others. The film is based on the scientists who tirelessly worked to create India’s vaccine against Coronavirus. Talking about the film, Vivek said that the film narrated the journey of India’s self-reliance at a time of medical crisis, becoming the “pharmacy of the world”.
